Greetings Earthlings
I'm Leon Tan, one of the producers of "War of the Worlds: Goliath", which means that if things go well I get a pat on the back and a cookie, and if things don't go too well, my head'll be on a pike by morning.
In other words, "producer" is another word for "the guy in the red shirt" for all you Trekkers ...
Just thought I'd post this thread and see what happens.
As our little project unfolds, we'd love to hear from fans of sci-fi and steampunk and frakking blowing stuff up ... spill it all out here.
Advice, comments, tidbits, snide remarks, anything. We're man enough. We can take it. As long as our attorneys vet your notes. Heh, no seriously. Bring it on. But remember, we've got Heat Rays ...
And a quick but sincere note of thanks to the brave souls from the US, Korea and Malaysia - literally a "tripod of talent" from Los Angeles, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur - who've put aside a couple of years of their lives for this insane idea of a Martian-Earthling deathmatch set in an alternative 1914 steampunk New York.
So to Kevin Eastman, Joe Pearson, David Abramowitz, Mike Bloemendal; our amazing voice cast; our dedicated & determined animation studio Sun Min Image Pictures (Seoul); the mercurial pre-production prodigies at Studio Climb (KL); the audio gods of Imaginex Studios (KL) helming voice direction, music scoring and sound design; and post-production wizards BaseCamp Films (KL) and Vitello Post (LA). And a special thank you to MAVCAP and MDeC. You know who you are!
So - fire away, fellas.
Leon
